Position: Sous Chef

 

Stock T.C located at Yonge & Montgomery Streets. Terroni and Cumbrae’s have partnered together to create new venture with a first-floor market space where people can grab n’ go breakfast, lunch or pick up sandwiches, fresh fruit, veggies or whole meals and groceries. We are seeking a Sous Chef to join our team.

 

Hourly Wage: TBD

 

Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Have 2 years’ minimum experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent
  • Experience in a high volume kitchen required
  • Reports to the Executive Chef
  • Consistently monitoring kitchen operations and cleanliness
  • Ordering, inventory and receiving procedures
  • Menu planning and costing
  • Ensuring service and quality standards are met
  • Hands on food preparation.
  • Strong supervisory and communication skills, as you will be supervising, guiding and training kitchen staff.
  • Be highly organized and able to multitask
  • Open availability (some evenings, weekends, holidays and early mornings included)
  • Possess basic recipe reading and measurement skills
  • Possess professional disposition with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Food Handlers Certificate or willing to obtain
