Our winter menus are here featuring eight new designs and two new pasta additions.
For this cover series, we decided to pay homage to those winter dishes that bring joy and warmth into the colder and shorter days.
By overlaying some Canadian winter landscapes with patterns made from illustrations of hearty Italian legumes and vegetables; we intended to show how foods can bring all the warmth we need right in our dinner tables at home after a long day of winter.
Adding to this we also used a cool/warm colour palette to highlight the contrast
between short cold days and soulful hearty Italian recipes.
For our new winter menu we decided to introduce two new dishes:
- Ravioli di Zucca with housemade pasta filled with ricotta and butternut squash, in butter and sage with Grana Padano cheese
- Cavatelli al Sugo d'Agnello with lamb braised in tomato sauce, dandelion greens and pecorino
